Woven Dishcloth

I finished my first woven dishcloth! I hope to get faster. All in all it was quicker than knitting.. I will post picture of the washed dishcloth when it gets out of the dryer. It shrunk up a couple of inches- I am glad I went with the 14 inch loom. I enjoyed the process very much and can't wait to start another dishcloth!

That looks awesome. Will most certainly have to try this now. I just got some dishcloth cotton in a swap and can put it on one of the looms. Wee haa

Thanks Kimberly. I loved weaving on a square loom. It takes about 1 hour to weave a dishcloth compared to several hours to knit one. And after washing it is the size of regular store bought dishcloth..
Post pictures after you weave some!

It is really lovely. I like the colors that you chose. I don't know if I could use something that pretty on dishes though. I also really like the photo on your main page with the shawl draped over the bicycle. Really pretty.
